AUTOBIOGRAPHY
Your autobiography, your life story, is yours to create. Take this opportunity
to leave a legacy of your life for your family, reflect on your key life
experiences or explore your family history. Students will be provided
a chance to read autobiographies and discuss the art of writing about
oneself. Everyone will write a personal narrative, and research about
some aspect of your family history is encouraged: country of origin, a
cultural practice, a common career held by family members through generations,
the impact a significant family member has had on your life. This course
will provide students time to read, write, reflect and retreat from the
busyness of life to explore and tell a story.
