INTRO TO STAINED GLASS REGISTRATION CLOSED
Students will learn about copper foil assembly, glass cutting, soldering, terminology, types of glass and design techniques. During the first stage of this course, participants will work on an 8" x 10" glass project. The focus of the second stage will be on using advanced tools such as circle cutters, strip cutters, glass drills and lead. The conclusion of the class will cover the fusing, bending and melting of glass by having students work on two experimental joint fused glass projects using quick fire kilns. Course fee includes all consumables and in-class use of all necessary tools. Class limited to 16. $80 tuition and NON-DISCOUNTABLE $50 lab and materials fee is included in the course price.
