AFTERNOON WALKING TOUR OF THE NORTH END
Tour meets at the Quincy Commuter Boat and includes roundtrip boat ride,
walking tour and a nice lunch with wine. This tour promises to be informative
and lots of fun. Learn how to shop the open market for the best deals
of that week. Discover specialty stores offering fresh meats cut to order,
breads and fresh herbs. Persons who bring four friends will a get free
cannoli! Limited to five students per Saturday.
NOTE: Students provide their own transportation to the Quincy
Commuter Boat instructor will contact students the week before
the tour to go over logistics.

ALL-AMERICAN REGIONAL CUISINES REGISTRATION
CLOSED
The diversity of American regional cuisines will be celebrated by learning
how to prepare classic meal styles such as Tex-Mex, Pennsylvania Dutch,
Pacific Northwest, Louisiana Creole/Cajun, New England Clambake and Hawaiian
Luau. A lab fee of $50 will be collected on the first night of class to
cover food costs during the course duration.

CHOCOLATE, CHOCOLATE AND MORE CHOCOLATE REGISTRATION

Come and discover the pleasures of chocolate while learning the fundamentals
of using and cooking with chocolate. This informative class will offer
a fun time preparing, eating, drinking and tasting delicious chocolate
items. A lab fee of $40 will be collected on the first night of class

COZY COMFORT COOKING REGISTRATION

This class will offer recipes and menu ideas for hearty and delicious
comfort food that will entice and soothe the palate. The winter can be
long and cold, so come and learn some tasty meals for quick and easy comfort
eating. Sample dishes will include macaroni and cheese; apples six ways;
plus drinks and desserts. A lab fee of $50 will be collected on the first
night of class to cover food costs during the course duration.

DECADENT DESSERTS
Students will learn about basic and fine dining dessert presentations.
Each participant will provide ingredients for his or her dessert to prepare
each week, and with the instructor's guidance, will develop skills, techniques
and essentials in dessert preparation. A lab fee of $15 will be collected
from each student the first night of class to cover demonstration food
costs. Prepare something delectable to take home and enjoy!

ITALIAN COOKING
Looking for a night out? Then meet people, Italian style, over food. Learn
to cook a six-course Italian meal and how to shop for one. We'll travel
to the Boston North End on a Saturday morning and visit all the right
places to shop for good Italian food. Graduation dinner (at students'
expense) will be at a local Italian restaurant, a chance to dine as the
Italians do! This course promises lots of fun and conversation as you
learn another style of cooking. Lots of great recipes...come share a wonderful
experience. A lab fee of $95 is due the first night of class.

MORNING WALKING TOUR OF THE NORTH END
The instructor will meet students at the Braintree High School football
stands to carpool to Boston. Participants will be shown the best way to
get to the North End, where they will visit the open market and a variety
of specialty stores. Tour includes parking (for those carpooling from
Braintree), walking tour and a continental breakfast. For those who prefer
to drive in on their own, the class will meet you by the Bell in Hand
in Boston. Persons who bring four friends will a get free cannoli! Limited
to five students per Saturday or Sunday.
